Code

IPFP by Alfred Galichon (NYU) and Bernard Salanié (Columbia) — an algorithm and code in R, Python, and via a Streamlit interactive app for solving equilibrium solutions in separable matching models à la Choo and Siow (2006).

More Info
My co-author Bernard Salanié (Columbia) and Alfred Galichon (NYU) developed the Iterative Proportional Fitting Procedure (IPFP) algorithm to solve for equilibrium in separable matching models, including in the original Choo and Siow (2006) specification and its variants. For precise discussion, see the latest version of their paper: "Cupid’s Invisible Hand: Social Surplus and Identification in Matching Models".
